Berlin has been on my list of places I would love to visit for many years. I was so excited when I booked the trip and even more excited as I got to go with my dear friend Ilaria!
I have to say I caught the wanderlust bug big time and I am already thinking of where to go next…
I love visiting new places and meeting new people, it fill my heart with excitement, it makes me grow and because of it I become a better person. After each trip and each encounter I am never the same again…I feel enriched and energised!
While there I met up with the beautiful Kim and Omar and I had so much fun spending some time with them, learning about them and photographing their young love, I am so excited to share a some of my favourites from the session we had around the amazing Museum Island. Incredible architecture and light.
Berlin has so much to offer, including incredibly gorgeous food. It was a very short trip but we made sure we did as much as we could making the most of our little time there and I already want to go back and visit again…
This time of the year I always go to Italy to visit my family. I love my country, it’s so beautiful and I do miss it. I wish I had extra time to stay, go visit friends, see more of my Turin and some of my favourite places. However with only a short few days to enjoy all I usually just want to be with my family and make the most of the little time we have together.
This time I did stay a few more days than usual and managed to fit a couple’s shoot in Sestriere with these beautiful souls.
Sestriere is so close to Turin, only an hour and a half drive. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Up at 2000m the sun was so strong we ended up having to take layers off and even bask in the sun between breaks of shooting.
Alessia and Alessandro were such a joy to photograph, they are so natural in front of the camera and so willing and excited for adventure. Creating photograph you love take time and effort and a desire to go exploring to find locations worthy of the shots you are after. I love working with couples who have the vision and trust the process and me. Everything is possible when you allow yourself to have freedom to be…
Some of my favourite images from the shoot. It wasn’t easy to select just a few….
When you get a message from a dear friend saying she is feeling a bit of wanderlust and wish to go somewhere you jump to the opportunity to escape and indulge into a little bit of fun. I have been to Marbella a few times and I love it because it’s so lovely and warm at this time of the year due to its location down the South of Spain, so it was a natural choice.
Being the passionate photographer that I am I couldn’t help but having my camera in my hand most of the time! I enjoyed photographing my super beautiful friend Asia, who also happens to be a super talented photographer. Blog post about that coming soon…Then we found the most gorgeous, genuine and adorable couple who were happy to hang out with us while we went crazy taking an insane amount of images of them, I mean just look at how cool and stunning they look, how could we not? They were celebrating their 1st anniversary of being together, so much love and a wonderful connection between them. I could go on but I will leet the image speak for themselves…
Casey and Michael, it has been a delight to be in your company and your graciousness and beauty truly made our trip complete. Thank you for being just perfect and great fun and I hope our paths will meet again in the future.
I can’t even tell how long I have been dreaming about visiting Santorini! I mean, it is nearly on everyone’s bucket list right? It is truly a magical place that never fails to impress and this last October I got to finally tick it off my list. It is impossible to actually get a sense of how amazing Santorini is just via images, so you are going to have to visit it yourself and not just take my word for it, be warned though you will have your breath taken away. I will do a personal post soon as I have taken thousands of images I can’t wait to share.
Anyhow back to the purpose of this post. Obviously while there I had to take advantage of the amazing scenery and put a shout out for a lovely couple who would happily have me follow them around taking photos. To my delight the lovely Roberta Facchini and her husband, also photographers, happened to be there at the same time as me shooting a wedding and had just about the right time to have a bit of fun in front of my camera. Thank you again Roberta and Nico, you were both stars and I hope you will enjoy your images for a long time.
These are some of my favourite shots from the session. I won’t hide that I now dream to photograph a wedding in Santorini myself in the future so if you are reading this post and you are planning to get married there or you are a wedding planner who would like to collaborate with me, do not hesitate to get in touch!
